Here are some companies that made the shift to mindfulness:

We've been teaching tai chi to the kiddos at Little Dreamers, Big Believers for several months now! The classes have been mutually rewarding, I have to tell you.

At 4 and 5 years old, these children still have a strong ability to observe without judgment. They are curious, open, joyful. And still show a deep connection to being led by their intuition.
It's been so rewarding for me to watch this and allow my own awareness to stay in more of a child-like perspective.
And I'll be perfectly transparent. It's been a while since I've taught kids. The staff and teachers have been so supportive and encouraging that they erased any concern I may have had about not being 'good' enough to do this. (Yep, I still doubt myself! Darned this "begin human" stuff!)
Zipline, right on 5th Avenue in Grandview, helps businesses transport their goods where they're needed. They've grown exponentially and are well aware of the need for balance between work and ease.
Marie Burson has been representing Shift there for quite some time teaching yoga once a week to employees! They absolutely love her gentle, guiding voice; her patience, and her deep knowledge and mindfulness.

Right down the hill from our studio, Grandview Apartments by Albion just finished building
a fantastic exercise facility for their residents which includes a great room for yoga practice!

Michelle Renee Tavenner has been offering yoga on Saturdays starting poolside this summer and to the new indoor facility where the class blossomed and expanded!

The Community Housing Network develops, owns and manages housing in Franklin County, renting affordable apartments to people disabled by mental illness, substance abuse, or a history of homelessness.

The work they do never ends, but funding does and it's always a struggle.

They have a deep understanding that the stress that goes along with this kind of work can burn people out quickly. They offer their employees meditation sessions to help bring some ease and balance into their lives.
